The short answer
GoHighLevel (HighLevel) lists US$97, $297 or $497 a month on its pricing FAQ (Starter / Unlimited / Agency Pro), billed in US dollars, with annual options $970 / $2,970 / $4,970. Using the ECB reference rate for 5 November 2026 (1 EUR = 1.1224 USD), that converts to roughly €86, €265 or €443 a month before VAT. These euro figures are estimates; your card or bank rate and any FX fee will differ.
The platform fee is only the starting point. Email, SMS, phone numbers, calls and several AI features are usage-based or optional add-ons, so the total bill can be higher than the plan price. How much higher depends on how you use the product — see the illustrative scenarios below (modelled examples, not observed customer bills).
VAT (plain English; not tax advice):
- VAT-registered Irish business buying for the business: HighLevel’s help docs say a valid VAT ID entered under Agency Settings → Billing → Payments may mean reverse charge / no VAT charged by HighLevel on future purchases. You then self-account Irish VAT on your return and, if fully taxable, normally reclaim it in the same return. Confirm against your own invoices.
- Irish business without a VAT number: absence of a VAT ID does not by itself mean you are a private consumer. For business purchases of services from abroad, Revenue’s published guidance is that registration and self-accounting may be required for received services, with no registration threshold for received services. That is separate from the ordinary domestic turnover thresholds. Do not treat “supplier added 23% on the invoice, so I’m done” as settled for a business buyer — check Revenue’s received-services and abroad-registration pages (linked in Sources) or ask Revenue / your own adviser.
- Genuine private consumer (personal, non-business use): electronically supplied services to non-business customers are generally taxed in the customer’s country; the supplier typically charges Irish VAT and a private consumer cannot reclaim it.

HighLevel is built for marketing agencies first. If you mainly need a booking page, an email list and a simple CRM, separate simpler tools will often cost less.
GoHighLevel price table (Ireland, euro estimate)
Rate basis: ECB 1 EUR = 1.1224 USD on 2026-11-05.
| Plan | USD list price | EUR estimate (ex VAT) | Notes |

| Agency Pro (SaaS mode) | $497/month or $4,970/year | ≈ €442.80/month or ≈ €4,428/year | Reselling / SaaS mode |

Per HighLevel’s pricing FAQ: unlimited contacts and users; Starter limited to 3 sub-accounts; 14-day free trial with billing starting automatically unless cancelled.
If you are evaluating agency reselling / SaaS mode specifically: Start the Pro trial (affiliate). Most single businesses will not need this plan.
What you actually get (Starter-focused)
- CRM and sales pipelines
- Website and funnel builder, forms, surveys and quizzes
- Booking calendars
- Email and SMS marketing (sending charged by usage)
- Unified inbox
- Workflow automation
- Reputation / review requests
- Payments and invoicing (Stripe, PayPal and others)
- Courses and communities
- Mobile app
Unlimited mainly adds unlimited sub-accounts and pass-through billing options. Agency Pro adds SaaS mode. One business that is not an agency rarely needs above Starter.
Costs on top: usage and add-ons
HighLevel states that usage-based charges apply to email, SMS, calling and several AI features (pricing page; LC Phone pricing guide). Exact Irish phone and SMS line items vary by destination and account — confirm them in HighLevel (Wallet Pricing / billing) before budgeting.
Phone and SMS (LC Phone)
- HighLevel states LC Phone pricing matches Twilio’s rates, and that non-US/Canada prices are held in country-specific files and/or the in-account Wallet Pricing page (Ireland is listed among supported countries).
- This guide does not quote a specific HighLevel Ireland SMS, voice or number rental rate. Check the rates inside your HighLevel account before budgeting Irish SMS or numbers.
- Practical takeaway: US/Canada SMS rates in HighLevel’s public guide are far lower than typical international destination rates; Irish texting volume can dominate the bill even when the platform fee looks manageable.
Email (LC Email)
From HighLevel’s LC Email help (USD):
- Sending: $0.675 per 1,000 emails (≈ €0.60 at the ECB rate above)
- Verification: $2.50 per 1,000 (≈ €2.23)
- Dedicated IP (optional): $59/month (≈ €52.57)
AI add-ons (AI Employee)
| Option | USD | EUR estimate (ex VAT) |
|---|---|---|
| Pay-per-use | No monthly fee | Usage billed separately |
| AI Employee Growth | $50/month per sub-account | ≈ €44.55 |
| AI Employee Unlimited | $97/month per sub-account | ≈ €86.42 |
HighLevel states phone charges still apply to AI voice calls. “Unlimited AI” does not remove call usage cost.
Other add-ons (selected, from HighLevel pricing materials)
| Add-on | USD | EUR estimate |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress hosting (1 site) | from $10/month ($9 annual) | ≈ €8.91 / €8.02 |
| SEO (Search Atlas) | $79/month per sub-account | ≈ €70.38 |
| Branded client portal | $49/month per sub-account | ≈ €43.66 |
| White-label mobile app | $497/month | ≈ €442.80 |
| HIPAA compliance | $297/month | ≈ €264.61 |

VAT in plain English (Ireland)
HighLevel, Inc. is a US company. For business purchases of services from a supplier outside Ireland, Revenue’s general published position is Irish self-accounting (reverse charge) where the rules apply — see Self-accounting for VAT on received services.
Three situations to keep separate:
- VAT-registered business (B2B): Provide your Irish VAT number to HighLevel. HighLevel’s Agency Tax ID guide says a valid VAT ID may mean reverse charge / no VAT charged by HighLevel on future purchases. On your VAT3 you generally include 23% in T1 and, if fully taxable, reclaim in T2. Keep invoices and workings.
- Business buyer without a VAT number: You may still be a business for VAT purposes. Revenue’s abroad registration page states that non-VAT-registered businesses may have to register and account for VAT on taxable services received from outside the State, and the received-services page states there is no registration threshold for received services. HighLevel may still show VAT on the invoice if no Tax ID is on file (VAT FAQs). That invoice line does not by itself settle whether you also have an Irish registration/self-accounting obligation. Use Revenue’s MyEnquiries or your own adviser — this guide does not tell you to “just pay 23% and you’re finished.”
- Private consumer (personal use): Usually B2C electronic services taxed in Ireland via the supplier; VAT on the bill is generally not reclaimable.

Who it suits / who should skip
Suits: agencies and freelancers with multiple clients; service businesses that will use pipelines, SMS follow-up and automation; people with time (or help) to set it up.
Skip: sole traders who only need booking + invoice + newsletter; anyone needing a fixed predictable bill without usage volatility; anyone unwilling to invest setup time; anyone whose main workload is high-volume Irish SMS until they have checked Ireland telecom rates in-account.
Cheaper alternatives (names only — verify prices yourself)
HubSpot’s free CRM plus a separate email tool; booking tools; accounting-software invoicing; website builders with forms. Two or three simpler tools can undercut Starter but lose the single dashboard.

Do I pay VAT in Ireland? It depends whether you are a business or private consumer, whether you have a VAT number on the account, and how Revenue’s received-services rules apply to you. See the VAT section. Not tax advice.
Cheapest path to try it? Starter (monthly or annual if you commit), AI on pay-per-use, minimise messaging until you know Ireland rates; use the 14-day trial and cancel before billing if it is not for you: trial link.
